Sustainable development at Groupe Crédit Agricole

"Back to common sense, it’s time for green banking"
This message sums up Groupe Crédit Agricole's position and its goals. It also defends its use of the term "green banking" not only through Sustainable Development actions but also by the fact that:
> Crédit Agricole is known as the "Green Bank",
> "Green banking" has both ecological and ethical connotations,
> In the wake of the crisis, Groupe Crédit Agricole's goal is to champion a "different kind of banking", servicing the real economy while obeying the absolute principle of responsible growth.
"Green banking" is therefore not just an environmental concept.
